Put the wipers together enough to see thru the rain. Have to replumb the heater this weekend. It’ll be nice to have defrost again before winter. Found a leak in the rear window seal to fix. Need to extend the exhaust pipe post muffler. Gotta find the source of the clunk for sanity and take it on a long shakedown run.
Found this after searching other fixes... 22" Mopar Radiator Passenger side outlet
Might be a dream tho cause the dimensions are a dead ringer for my 77 pig radiator... and the price is right, even though I’m leary of the luminum...might have to buy 2... wonder if we could get a volume discount with a group buy???
AAAAND my lower stat housing is pissing...I suspect a crack....didn't think I'd been screwing the pooch too hard or pissin on anyones fires lately; must be time to re-evaluate...^^^that radiator is going to fit our pigs perfectly, but I'm going to back burner the purchase till the stat housing is fixed and I'm caught up on several other debts...Champion says that radiator is for a Plymouth Satellite with a 318 motor..they make one with 2, 3, or 4 row cores- all tanks being 2.75" thick; all made of aluminum; all are shorter than their stock app to fit other mopar cars- I believe the brass/copper stock replacement for the Satellite are about 1-1/2" taller than our radiators. The mounting flange will need to be drilled to match our radiator supports ( I plan to drill mine so it sits 1/2" lower than the current top of tank- the Satellite radiator has its fill neck ON the tank; not inboard of the tank ala the OEM pig radiator. ) I will be using the 3 row version, priced at about 220 bucks to my door. inlet hose to radiator is 1.5 inch; outlet to engine is 1.75". I do not think ANY mods other than mounting holes will need to be done to either radiator or pig...part number is 2374...ec for 2 row, cc for 3 row, and mc for 4 row... HTH
Good research on the radiator. Isn't that thermostat housing alum. or something other than steel. I think I have one on my spare F motor, if you need it. It's a 71 motor.
I don't has TIG- BUT it may have only been a gasket....the footing is tricky on the oil covered slicker slope....gunna spin tires till one pops...gotta be running again tomorrow at 430am...
