Found a guy who use one ripped seat back cover to repair 2 drivers seat bottom covers for 80 bucks. Got some gently used SOR seat foams to use in the drivers side of both the fj62 and fj55, while I will use the pair of repaired passenger seat foams as the passenger side seat foams.... go figure... the SOR foams are SWEET. My bones arse won't know what to do....

drivers seat is in...those SOR seat foams are a solid 3" taller than the 30YO factory pads...which is great, cause my seat risers were a tad short at the OEM foam pad height! My arm has a 10* slope resting my elbow on the door rail at relaxed operating position, my knee pit doesn't press into the leading edge of the seat while depressing the clutch, and the seat belt lays absolutely perfectly across my chest without cutting into my neck and shoulder...passenger side seat is pending seat back cover and seat belt pivot shoulder bolt; next weekend...gotta replace the drivers side front wheel bearings, pull the axles and check the rear bearings and rewire the ICS valve...fenders...interior trim package...fj80 pillar handles...

Drivers front hub repaired, ICS valve rewired...

God bless the sty and that nice young county sheriff who verified the VIN of my 1973 fj55!!!

Gunna need tires and a fax kit before long, and an AC

It ran fine till the car wash, then the throttle cable started to stick... almost missed my app with the sheriff... don't use heat shrink tube with sealer to cover stripped cables... the sealer will melt with heat and gunk up the cable...

don't shoot the -sheriff- don't like/// it rockin the cabin chassis to the casbah!

something wrong with my eyes...

can't see going to work till my plates are on:grinpimp:...Who wants to bet on the plate number?
