H55F vs NV4500 (3 Viewers)

So I finished the swap and am very happy with the H55F. Had to get creative in hooking up the transfer case linkage but with a torch I was able to bend everything to fit with out cutting and welding. Doing my 500 mile break in right now.

Would warn people the trans tunnel is a tight fit. Had three big guys muscling in the transmission to fit. And I ended up re-threading the Mark’s adapter to metric for a more secure fit.

Freeway speeds vs RPM, 70 MPH is at 2300 RPM. Just need to tune my air/fuel ratio to dial in the perfect cruise speed. On to my next project, thanks all for your comments.

Hey @Kirkade ,

Your picture above shows that your headers are wrapped... Not sure which headers you have but I had issues back in the day when I had my Vortec conversion done, wrapping killed my $$$ Downey headers

Lol some how I posted my response in the wrong form. I will keep that in mind if I wear these headers out quickly.

I have always wrapped my headers. I have never had any issues on any of my other builds. I do have all the break, clutch, hoses & electrical wrapped as well. Reason why I choose to wrap the LS headers in particular on this build is because I have the exhaust plumbed really close to the hydraulic systems and the heat soak was messing up the clutch and break systems.

Current wraps are to the Y junction.
