Coming from the FJC and JT world and M-&P- car world, I’m a used to tons of choices for mods… I’m hoping some of the regular Toy fab shops start to step up on front and rear bumper options along with some easy respiration mods to intake and exhaust (not necessarily Akropovic but maybe Afe or similar).

Who do we think is going to be first out of the gate (besides Jaos) and what do would you like to see first?

Dissent and Slee are actively working on products.

I wouldn't be inclined to put aftermarket intake or exhaust on for more performance. I think it's got plenty of power. But I would be looking at single air filter and snorkel. It's silly to have two separate air filters and it makes water crossings extra challenging. The max air volume can easily be provided by a single filter box. I imagine it won't be long before someone makes this happen.

The other thing I'd look for is a larger fuel tank. For towing anything close to the tow capacity you'll need to either carry extra fuel in cans or get a long range fuel tank. So - maybe a rear bumper with spare tire mount to free up room underneath for an auxiliary fuel tank. I'm not a fan of rear bumper mounted spares - they're in the way and a constant PITA. But in this case it's a tradeoff that might be necessary. This is the biggest deal breaker for me with the current design. Long range fuel tank options would help.

I tow a Sasquatch Highland 60 so can hump another 10-30 in roto mounted or Jerrycan. I think the rear swing bumper is a pita unless you really need it… the FJC swing gate was one of my gripes, but liveable. For mountain biking the pop top for changing and post ride libations is win.

I’d love to see some tube style front and rears, and gobi low profile (vs the prinsu) roof rack come together.

With the tech, even throwing on my Thule hitch mounted 2 bike hauler three systems to fits. You can kill it with a button then a bunch of other crap doesn’t work.

It is the adult spiritual successor to my FJ by drive dynamics, ruggedness, perceived capability, and for a tall fool, head room.

74Weld has been building portal axle kits for the T4R and Taco, I'd assume they'll eventually cater to the new generation as well. And since the architecture is the same across the 250's...
