I got some wheels 17x8 with a +50 offset. but not sure what size tires and spacers would be best. I have a stock height gx470. Does anyone know what size tires and spacers would work without rubbing? Do I need spacers on both front and back? Any brake and rotor suggestions? Thanks.

+50!?! Stock is +25 so you are 25mm inboard of stock and will be all up in your UCAs, brakes, etc. You will need to spacers for sure if you insist on running that wheel (which I wouldn't). You will need a 1" to 1.5" spacer just to get it back to stock width.

Maybe a typo...hadn’t heard of +50 offset on 17x8 wheels.

Thanks. +50 surprised me too. Are spacers bad? I was thinking 1.25 - 1.5 inch spidertrax spacers. But not sure what size tires would work for a stock setup without rubbing and if I need a set for both the front and back.

I would sell the wheels and take the money you were going to use for spacers and put all that towards something that’s a better match for the GX. You might get some money for the stock GX wheels as well.

Thanks for the advice. I would prefer to put them on before I try and sell them. I was thinking 2 sets of 1.25 spacers for front and back and 285/70/17 or 235/80/17’s .
