This is my first post on the forum and I'll put together a build thread later of things I've done previously.
My primary goal was to have a storage area for items that won't become hazards in case of an accident. The box is bolted to the factory tie down points.
I found a cool product called Sidio crates that offers great versatility so I decided to build the drawers with them in mind. The crates fit snug with or without the lids.
I like the look of carpet on the top and sides but ran out of time and money before our road trip. Besides the wood grain looks a little too good to hide. Hopefully the Polycrylic top coats hold up.
The straps run underneath the drawer and there to secure anything on top. Again focused on safety.
