gx470 running board lights

To the guys who took running boards off (and put sliders on)

How are the lights getting power? Is there some kind of wire harness there, or are you just clipping wires?

I can't really tell from this pic:

I'm going to put sliders on, but I'm trying to think of something interesting to do with the available power there. Ideally I'd be able to find some protected place to put a discrete LED strip or in some other way keep that lighting even with a slider there...

no clipping. I taped up the electrical portion and tucked the hanging harness into the frame and havent had a problem. You could easily tap into the power source to add some cool led lights.

Since I installed our sliders I've been wanting to do that, but other things always come up.
