Trying to keep mileage good so probably won't do custom bumpers (until a fender bender creates opportunity)

I'm assuming like the stock tie down points on the 100 series, the loops on the front aren't safe to use for snatching recoveries(?)

Any good solutions? I don't see anything to unbolt and replace that is similar to the URB brackets you can get on ebay for the hundies.

At least on the rear I'm getting a shackle mount for the hitch, but nothing for the front...

I already searched this forum sorry if it is a faq somewhere

those hoops under the front and rear are fine for recovery, they are pretty beefy. I have used them to pull people out a few times.

yeah, those loops are good. I wouldnt go to yanking on them, though. You could probably bend your lower radiator support.

I use the winch in the front....plus the bracing for the front bumper added a lot of beef to the front rails.

I've been wondering about this too. Even the ARB bumper for the GX does not seem to have recovery points - only hi-lift jacking points. The winch is good, but I'm sure you guys weren't suggesting a winch be used to pull someone by yanking. Those hoops don't look sturdy enough for me and having to crawl under the truck to get at them is kind of a PITA.

Dang. Having buyer's remorse. Thinking of taking advantage of the 3 day no questions asked return and just going with an LR3. Might have jumped the gun a bit.

Can anybody donate or send me a GX470 recovery point? I would be able to make them if there is demand.

Anybody have pictures of the OEM's? Front and rear if possible.

Dude...just text me next time :P

Yup
