Not sure if this is relatable to this thread but If I'm trying to disable KDSS completely is there a fuse or relay I need to pull to get rid of the KDSS light on the dash once I remove everything?

Unplugging the controller in left side quarter panel would disable this. Not sure if this is relatable to this thread but If I'm trying to disable KDSS completely is there a fuse or relay I need to pull to get rid of the KDSS light on the dash once I remove everything?
Yes, absolutely. Any connector disconnected would disable KDSS.Hey all, sort of off topic but not... So does unplugging at the rear basically turn off KDSS? Can one just unplug it on a case by case basis? Maybe know you're going to be on gravel for a few days or the roads are slow and very rough (Chicago)?
Yes you can. You can just cut one of the solenoid wire and insert a manual switch and it would do the same thing. The current draw of the solenoid are pretty low.I'd kinda like to do this now, but with a toyota style switch. Can it be done as a toggle? Or do I need a momentary?
I used a Toyota style momentary switch that just says “KDSS” on it. No need to use a toggle.I'd kinda like to do this now, but with a toyota style switch. Can it be done as a toggle? Or do I need a momentary?
KDSS Dash light would come on. It would trigger a fault from detecting the open connection. It would automatically reset once the condition reset but the fault would stay in memory if you use some advanced code reader.I was thinking the on/off switch would give me a visual indicator of what the setting was. Or does the dash light come on with this?
The intention is to have it automatically reset when you start the car. A switch works too and you only need to interrupt one solenoid. I did both upper and lower chamber solenoid and found out later it was not needed. One would throw a fault and disable the system already.Digging up this thread with a question.
What’s the advantage of using a relay + momentary switch instead of a toggle switch without a relay?
Is the concern with a toggle that you’d have all that wire running from the switch back to the KDSS harness in the back?
This relay memorized the last state it was. Push the button again and it revert to original state. I did not realize this when I order it.Thanks a ton for the quick reply!
One follow-up question about how the momentary switch + relay allows the system to automatically reset when the car is started.
This is probably my lack of understanding of relays.

When the momentary switch is pressed, my understanding is the connection between NC1 - C1 flips to C1 - NO1 (same for NC2 - C2). If the switch is pressed again, flips again.
When the car is turned off then started, what is it that resets the relay to the normally closed connection?
