Trying to help out a friend figure out whats wrong with his 2003 gx470. Dashboard brake, vsc and abs lights are on. Check engine light is not. Theres a buzzing sound in the cabin like a warning sound. Parking handbrake light functions normally.
Brake fluid ok.
Have driven the car on numerous occasions and brakes work fine. After being parked in the garage for about a month, it suddenly had very weak brakes (brake pedal extremely hard) together with the dash lights and buzzer sound. We cannot drive it anywhere since the car almost would not stop.
I've searched and read a possible problem regarding the abs sensor located at the front left wheel.
Any help is much appreciated.
