No. Not a bit of rubbing. But again the entire body and frame are about 2 feet above the top of the tires!

Love the looks of the V Cross, especially with the red interior!
Before Lexi, (my GX) I was looking at VX's and as I as I was looking, I realized a few issues:
- Isuzu is no longer supported in the US, other than indie shops.
- Ditto for parts.
- Unibody. I'm kind of hard core about the best off road rigs are body on frame, although I've been told these do great on trails!
- Not much (any?) aftermarket.
- Adding larger tires, would not work with keeping a spare tucked in the back shell.
- And finally, just too small! It'd be great for nothing more than day trips on trails or the most minimal camping.

Long overdue post but finally got wheels and tires on there. Rays Gram Lights 57DR-X in Bronze 17x8.5 et0 with 265/70 AT4W.
I copied Arailt's post to modify the fender area to stop the rubbing:

As an aside, when I was out taking some pictures today I messed around with 4LO and CDL. After putting it into 4LO and then putting it in drive, there seems to be a little lag from gas pedal to engagement, and then when decelerating there is a bit of a jolt / lurch, I'm guessing during the downshift into first. I got this same behavior whether or not CDL was engaged, and I disabled and reenabled 4LO a couple times to test as well. I don't recall my prior 2021 GX feeling like this, but I only got to use 4LO a couple times before the accident.
Does anyone else get this grab/lurch behavior when going down into first gear with 4LO engaged?

Looking at what some have accomplished here, I think it would be no terrible feat to get custom parts to suit. I'd honestly be surprised if a factory or aftermarket part wasn't already available. It (or a rust free Rodeo) would be easy purchases for me...

Getting absolutely mogged in the Wegmans parking lot this morning. The Bronco Raptor is so silly and awesome.
I had one for a week to test a few years ago, didn't love it...? It was like $96k too
Having like 14 inches of suspension travel and 37s from the factory is just so silly. But if you don't have access to somewhere that you can absolutely send it off road then what's the point? It's like buying a GT3 RS just to do highway pulls and argue with Tesla drivers on the internet.
(I am aware that the disappointing majority of performance vehicle buyers will never use their performance vehicle anywhere close to its maximum performance in a proper environment)

Remember to get a surform file to even out any highs or lows after the cut. The guy did have the right idea about using the trim molding.

I guess that's why they're probably more popular in CA. We have a lot of places you can destroy an almost $100k rig!
Also, per your mention of a GT3 RS, that's why I like Porsche's. They have one of the largest clubs in the U.S. (world?) and they have track days so one can safely push their ride to the limits without concern of tickets, accidents, or killing someone. Loved taking my Porsche to the track!
If someone wants a fast ride, join a club and find some place where you can do track days. Don't do them on our streets!

Agreed, I won't fault or criticize anyone for buying and driving what they like regardless of how they use it (or don't), it's just wasted potential when they're not taken off-road
