I worked at store #0080 in Columbia, Mo about thirty years ago. I think we charged $6.50 for a patch job including dismount/mount of tire and balance. Did my share and they held up well. Doing those and State Inspections ($6.25) often, I wondered how they stayed afloat as long as they did.
They are only $15 now.

I pulled out a Ram 1500 that was high centered on a ledge today. Threw it in 4LO and gently backed it out. That is all.
I had to pull a 4x4 Ram out of snow on the entry to the Rubicon a couple years ago. Truck was stock and tires were pretty worn. Unspooled 30 foot of winch line and pulled them out!

Finally have time to do some maintenance, changing oil, rotating tires and installing Rad Rubber fender well liners.

Just don't forget the hole on the front of the shock tower for each side.

Got the delivery notification for my Dr KDSS harness, switch and such. Where have folks been putting this? Left side or right side? I had thought about saving the one next to the center diff lock for lockers but that could be a long ways off

I have a similar question. I want to install the Red Arc Trailer brake Controller, but I have no blank switch location. I need a double stack switch.

left side, right where the Dr. KDSS video shows placement (albeit on a 4Runner). Don't know if enough wire is supplied with the kit to run it to the right of the steering wheel

I wired mine into my switch panel since that seemed easier than messing with T-taps. IIRC the DrKDSS switch harness is the shape and length to go on the left of the steering wheel.

I still have my union wire stretcher. 😂

I have seen those for twin locked vehicles, somewhere.... I'll probably remember where about 3 am.

Done some digging but can't seem to find anything definitive on this:

Early GX460s got the RSCA off button. It's not present in later models (like my 2018). Does this mean the rear side curtain airbags are turned off in 4-Low under certain speeds?
Are the airbags in the seats?

I know at some point (2014+?) the sensors/electronics for the airbags were updated so the manual button was no longer needed. What I don't know for certain is whether that means the airbags are disabled for low speed 4low, or whether the new sensors are "smart" enough to distinguish between low speed off road teeter-tottering and an actual rollover.

As usual I am of no help.
