Got a flat tire yesterday driving back from Starbucks (typical). Luckily Starbucks isn't that far away and the jagged metal Krusty-O I ran over made a slow leak so I could get home with like 8 psi left. Then launched my phone out of my pocket when exiting the car and destroyed the screen. At least I could change my tire in my driveway in the rain but it was a good reminder that I need to get an extension for the bottle jack and buy a house with a garage big enough to park a GX in.

I've ordered myself some 285/70/17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs as consolation.

Some nice toms!!! There are a lot of turkeys in the area of my cabin.. I think largest group to come through was around 85-90. They roost in the trees at night to avoid the coyotes, cougars, bobcats, lynx, etc...

Wow that is a lot of flocks getting together, I've seen 2 or 3 but never that many!

Can you imagine what taking a crow call in to locate where they roosted would sound like in the morning?! Probably hard to pinpoint with that many responding LOL.

That's OK Spring turkey season is opening up just around the corner.... Many States still only have a Spring turkey season.

I spent 2 days applying Wizards cermic coat to my 23' 460, I did apply it to the front and rear surfaces of the wheels, the headlamps, and plastic bits such as the running boards. It beads water nicely and has more gloss than the factory clear. Wizards states it lasts about 3 years, time will tell. This was my first time applying ceramic, it's a lot of work up front, but if it lasts like they claim, then the initial investment will be worth it.

What was the indicator that they needed replacing? Were you underneath for an unrelated purpose and saw it torn? Or was something not feeling right, leaning to one side or a code?

Clunking around yeah, but I had bought these like a year ago when I did the fronts and just never got to the rears. When I was unbolting the clamps the whole assembly was moving around side to side quite easily too. 150k miles on those. Also something else I noticed. I used to have the lean but I checked again today and no lean anymore since all sets of bushings replaced.

I know 33s are considered tiny little baby tires in the modern off roading world but it's funny to see them next to the OE tire size

Don't sell 33's short, there's not many more places a 35 incher will get you that a 33 won't unless you're rock crawling, but I don't believe we build our rigs for that. Not me at lest.

Is this the part number you used? Is it the same bushing for both sides?

Yep, I didn't see exactly what they did, but I was out the door by 9:15. Not a huge fan of Walmart, they did me a solid, though.

I worked at store #0080 in Columbia, MO about thirty years ago. I think we charged $6.50 for a patch job including dismount/mount of tire and balance. Did my share and they held up well. Doing those and State Inspections ($6.25) often, I wondered how they stayed afloat as long as they did.
