I have used the sunglasses holder for sunglasses on all three GX's. Unlike others here I find the convex mirror to be gimmicky and utterly useless. Different strokes for different folks.

Still loving the 460 as they finally got everything right on the '22+ models but I can't deny that the 550 already has us looking to possibly trade up in a few years lol. That said, the thought of keeping the last of the NA V8 trucks with hydraulic KDSS and steering is tempting as well. I could see it getting a mild lift, some 32's and a low-pro front winch bumper and sticking around as the around town daily.

We camp a lot and I've added a few things to equip us and make camping as easy as possible.
1) Weathertech mats 1st and 2nd row in mocha (color match looks great)
2) Weathertech cargo mat. It refuses to say in place, and I am totally SOL if we need to use the 3rd row when away from home. Really silly design if you think about it. I contacted weathertech about adding nubs to the bottom to keep it in place like their new digital fit mats have, and they did send me velcro to help hold it in place. Problem was the Velcro stuck to the carpet instead of the cargo liner.
3) The side view mirrors wouldn't stay in place and folded in at higher speeds with clip on mirror extensions, so I ordered a Halo View wireless setup. Nice part is the screen has a t-slot that works with Ram Mounts. I really like it vs clip on mirrors.
4) OEM Toyota windshield wipers that accept new rubber inserts vs. the disposable units that were on it when we bought it. (not really camping related, just prepping for future savings).
5) Hayden transmission cooler. Hauling our camper and easily sustaining temps around 215 which is too hot imho. The GX470 we just sold I added an upgraded trans cooler to, and it made a huge difference even over the OEM cooler setup. I think I will order some of the oem lines from the newer GX460's to make the install as clean and reliable as possible.

Things on order:
1) Victory 4x4 Roof rack. We fill a large Thule cargo box with firewood, and need something very sturdy to hold the weight. Plus you can use the large surface for sheet goods or pretty much whatever you want. Will update when installed.
2) Canvasback cargo floor liner. This will replace the weathertech mentioned above, and will allow for the 3rd row to operate as needed.
3) Ram tough track phone mounting with wireless charging. I will be mounting the tough track right above the center HVAC vents on the dash. Then will have two Ram mount setups for wireless charging.

Weathertech cargo mats are absolute trash, those from Husky and even the rubber OEM mats are vastly superior. WT will warp and curl in short order as well.

Fun thread. We needed this.

I have Oedro rubber mats front and back in my rig and I love them. But I still use towels, etc. for the cargo area. I'm not a fan of the OEM design, and when I've shopped around I had trouble finding a good one for a base GX without the 3 zone AC. Apparently that changes the footprint. Then I get all frustrated with it, plot my 3rd row delete and before you know it I'm packing for another trip without a cargo mat.

What's everyone's favorite cargo liner and do you have 3 zone climate control?

I have the OEM cargo mat. No 3-zone climate. It works well enough, I opted to go this route as I like that it's rubber and thus non-slip, and that the large section can be removed so the rear-most piece can be kept in place should the third row be in use. Looked at effectively every option out there and figured I'd give this one a shot (can always replace it down the road), and do genuinely like it. Then again, what works for me may not work for others (non-slip was critical to my wants/needs).

Terrible picture, but you can see that the mat is comprised of two parts that can be used together or independently

In the current GX I use the OEM two piece rubber mat. I have used Weathertech and Husky cargo mats on the two previous 460's and I find the OEM to be the best overall and yes, I have 3-zone climate. The Husky has better edges for liquid retainment but that hasn't been an issue with the OEM yet. On the last 460 I did the Goose Gear third-row delete, best interior upgrade I made. In the 200 we have the OEM Heritage Edition two-row rear cargo mat (third-row was removed) and it holds 100+ pounds of melting ice in bags from the corner store to the boat decently well all summer. Eventually the rear of the 200 will have drawers and this will be a moot point.

I have canvas back liners in the cargo area and the back of the second row seats. LOVE these things, super well made and fit amazing. I do believe I have 3zones, my climate screen has a “rear” button, is that it? It looks like I have an ac thing in the third row area. Anyway, on top of the canvasback I used a rubber mat, at least until I pulled the 3rd row. I’m hoping I can attach the canvas back liners to whatever platform I eventually make, they are too nice not to use.
Plus one for husky liners, don’t have them currently but IMO far superior to weathertech.

Random thought of the day:

Is adjusting the shocks differently on each side a thing or am I overthinking this? I'm getting more side to side pitching from the rear axle than I'd like in certain instances. It feels like the passenger side needs slower rebound than the driver side based on how the annoying side to side bucking starts. The driver's side is heavier and I have a steel fuel tank skid and left side tire carrier so this makes sense in my mind, but I am also an idiot.

The rebound adjusters on Dobinsons MRAs are annoying to manipulate so I'm wasting everyone's time here instead of wasting my time crawling around messing with shock settings.
Do you need a heavier passenger?? :D

I actually don't know if you have the third row climate - mine looks like this. That being said, I also don't know if they changed how it looks over the years. In other news, I adjusted my hood stops to try and get rid of a squeak.

Those look great.

I ain't building/sewing anything for the back until I get the 3rd row delete done.

How do the dogs handle the slicker material?

I have a little Yota lean on the driver's rear. The front is level side to side. Damping is currently the same side to side.

Maybe I just need a spacer on the driver's rear spring.
If you have Bucking side to side you'll have to mess with your dampening. I don't know this for certain, but if you have KDSS you'll have a different effective spring rate side to side. Plus your sprung weight on the left side sounds higher. If you are level in the front but you have a bit of a lean left your front right is ridding probably a bit light. Does it turn different right vs left? (slow speed)

I'm just using the factory Lexus carpet liner with the 3rd row down. Works well enough. We don't have any pets so pet hair isn't an issue. The only thing I need to clean it for is beach sand, camping dirt (pine needles, dust etc.), just the basic dirt. It all vacuums out fine.

Also, we LOVE our Weathertech floor mats for the past 5 years. We have them only for the front and middle floorboards. The color is almost perfect and I can spill an entire drink and not worry about it leaking into the factory carpet. Can't speak to the Weathertech cargo pads, never tried them, but the front and middle floorboards are great.
We have the factory carpet pads on top of the Weathertech mats.
In the front, both the Weathertech and carpet pad hook into the plastic retaining hooks on the floor so nothing scoots around. In the middle, they just sit on top the Weathertech mat
Doing this, we always have carpet under our feet with the Weathertech protection under. If we're in snow, mud or whatever, I can quickly pull the carpet pads out, toss them in the back and just have the Weathertech's catch all the muck without dirtying the carpet pads.

The dog does alright, definitly a little slicker than the carpet but I had the rubber mat down which helps in the back and her bed usually goes on top of the third row folded down, so there is never much canvas back real estate available for her to slide.
Since deleting the third row and not having a platform built yet, I just have a blanket down in the rear, but it’s easier for her to jump up without the added height of the folded down third row I must say.
I also purchased the flap that goes over the 2nd row headrests as the pup likes to walk back and forth on them it seems, really helps keep the dirt off the top of the seats. I got the covers for the rear wheel wells but never installed them. Maybe when I build the platform I’ll just try and sell the set.

Turning feels the same and generally drives quite well. The bucking only happens if I go over multiple mogul-type obstacles on the passenger side at "city" speeds (like 10-25mph). Imagine dropping the passenger rear wheel into a deep pothole, then driving out of the hole over a speed bump at like 10-15mph. In that scenario, it feels like the pass rear spring is rebounding too fast and the truck can start rocking. I will have to crawl under there and mess with settings if it ever stops raining here. You might be onto something with the front right. If that corner is riding light, it adds to the teeter-tottering I am getting even though it is bucking side to side and not front to back.

Awesome, good to know. Sadly when I do the seat delete, Ill only get one side of drawers as we travel with a kennel for our Bauceron who likes to eat s*** he shouldn't. If anyone has a line on a folding create that isn't wire, and not an Impact brand I would be very interested.

Any guess how much down travel you have left in the front? That could also be a factor. I don't know the dob stuff very well, could you be in a top out zone?

Not exactly GX, more like BS: A long time ago, I redid the back of a WRX wagon in waterproof outdoor carpeting to accommodate a large dog that traveled with me everywhere. She had great traction, even when I was doing foolish WRX things with it, and aside from some dandruff looking dust that came off the backing, it held up and protected the interior nicely. When I sold the car, the rear bench was pretty much brand new, it hadn't even seen the sun for years.

I've thought about trying this technique again, but I depend on the tie downs on the floor so those would need accomodation. I really should just bite the bullet and remove that third row. My kid will be in sports soon, and we don't want to be the official transport bus, so that's another incentive to remove the extra seats. I set them up once, when we first got the truck, but they've been folded flat ever since.

I built a seat delete for our Tacoma the same way. The dogs are ok with it minus the bigger one not want to lie down unless its plush or cold.

I worry with the third seats and rear end crash protection too, just not a lot of room back there.

Which single-sided drawers are you looking at? That's the route I'd like to eventually go

@K Dub WRX Wagon is best WRX, hands down
