I have a 2012 gx460 and want to put on a arb touring rack. I called arb and they say they don’t sell mounts or racks etc for my car. Has anybody successfully fitted one of these? I’m wondering if the Ironman mounts works. Thanks.

Funny how they say it doesn't fit, while showing a picture of one on a Prado/460. Also funny that FedEx has entered the chat.

Check with MetalTech, they seem to think this Fit Kit will bolt that platform to the GX460 roof:

With all due respect, does it have to be ARB? I can understand the low profile which I imagine you want along with it not being full length, but there are other racks.
If you go here: Guide to GX 460 Builds and Aftermarket Products - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/guide-to-gx-460-builds-and-aftermarket-products.1168653/
At post #2, there is a whole slue of racks to choose from! Many of them are aluminum, which are lighter and won't rust. And if you do some searches within our little 150 series forum, you'll probably be able to get some feedback (good/bad/??) on many of the racks.
Just trying to open up more options... :meh:

i like the low profile look and pricing of the arb. prinsu is my second choice. I am not worried about rust as i live in the south.

i am planning on using the rack for a roof top tent.

You can just get a couple crossbars in that case from rhino rack or lfd and save a bunch of weight up there vs a steel rack
Add Front Runner to the crossbar list as well.

I guess I was wrong.

At the bottom of the page it has a icon to contact Front Runner if your vehicle isn't listed. I was just looking for a friend the other day but that was for a Taco. Looking at the Hi Lux ones I bet they'd bolt on.

BTW your picture is ARB's "flat rack" not their "touring rack" which I have on my truck. Their "touring rack" is fairly large with a front hoop for lights. Their "flat rack' is slim profile and comes in steel or aluminum. I inheirited the "touring rack" from the PO and want to sell it as I don't plan on adding a rooftop tent and want something with less weight in aluminum & better aero.

Nice low profile. for me, I don't like tall racks. Our rigs are tall enough without adding inches to the top.
Ha-ha! Listen to me talk about not being too tall! With rack AND roof top tent on my rig!!!
Although without the RTT, my rack is low profile.

FedEx,

This is the post I have been looking for! Which ARB rack did you use?

There are probably equal quality racks out there, but I tend to be brand loyal and ARB was my #1 brand for my 19 Tacoma.

Thanks!

Arb steel flat rack.

Was the rack 2 separate parts? Can you share where you order from? I am looking to add some 8020 crossbars but want a solid base on the side. I was also looking at the Rhino Rack backbone which seems to be similar.
