I wanted to start a hub to fender measurements thread for reference for various lifts. I couldn't find one on the 150 platform. If enough of us contribute to this it could be a great reference for future owners wanting to modify their suspension. The standard (though not completely accurate) method is to measure from the center of the hub to the outside edge of the fender lip. This needs to be done when the truck is on level ground both front to back and side to side, otherwise the truck will lean and measurements won't be accurate. To make it easier I measure from the lower lip of my rim to the fender and then subtract the rim radius. That way you have something to hook the tape measure onto and can be a bit more accurate. I'll go first, template at the bottom.

Truck:
2010 GX Premium
Extra weight - None

Lift:
IronMan FCP
2.5" front springs (0 Preload at factory setting)
2" rear (Toyo 056B)
Ironman Airbag Delete kit - (RR set to zero, LR 1/2" thread showing)

After Lift Measurements:
Lf 21.75” (net 2.25”)
Rf 21.625 (net 2.375“)
Lr 24.25” (net 3.5“)
Rr 24.25” (net 3.25“)

To make this usefull, you'd likely need to mention these details:

- How much weight you're carrying (front and rear) like winch, LRA, drawers, etc.
- How long has the kit been on? (Springs settle over time)
- What is your front preload set to
- What spring conversion are you running

There's so many factors that play into this but I could see it being usefull to prospective buyers if done well.

These are all really good points but you forgot one thing..... You hub measurements : )

Updated with your input. Let me know if I missed anything.

Thanks for contributing. Great looking rig. Do you remember what your spring choices were? Mind editing to add that?

Front choices:
2.5" medium load TOY065B
3" medium load TOY065A
2.5" heavy load TOY065C

Rear choices:
2" Medium - TOY056B
3" Medium Plus - TOY069B
2" Heavy - TOY056C
1.5" Stock Load - TOY056A

Anyone else feel like Contributing?

Where's all the Dobinsons, Icon's and Radflo's at? I know you guys love you lifts, post your numbers and brag about performance (or bitch if you hate them) : )

I ordered the kit in dec 2019… back then spring choices were the same but had different nomenclature. The “a” springs were called stock (no load), “b” springs were performance, and “c” springs were called constant (heavy).

Beyond Ironman, I was thinking about ome bp-51s as I have them on my tacoma, but I decided it was overkill for what I use it for. I felt the fcps were a good middle of the road option… something between reservoir shocks and basic run of the mill nitro gas.

2015 Premium
Full skids and sliders
Rear cargo drawers + Fridge - 3rd row seats. So probably broke even on the weight in the rear
I have a front bumper and winch that I never installed so the fronts are probably a little too stiff right now

Lift: Dobinsons IMS, 3" Heavy springs front/rear
Age: about a year

LF: 25.5"
RF:24.75"
LR: 25.5"
RR: 24"

Those numbers were right after installation. I think they settled about an inch but I haven't measured.

Hey @r2m, don't you run icons? @nw_fj62 You still running a radflo set-up? Any chance I could get you guys to measure your hub to fenders sometime and post your set-ups here so we have at least one from the most popular lift options for 150's?

Yep, I run Icon's. Apologies, I've been meaning to post those measurements, but just got back from Tahoe two days ago, and have been slammed with work and tomorrow my wife and I are pre-running some trails in Calico for our club run on Mother's Day. Hoping Sunday I can get out there and measure after church.

Now I'll have to post a disclaimer that my rig is very heavily loaded, so it's not like slapping that suspension on a stock rig. My numbers may be a little shorter than most with the same "3 inch" suspension lift.

That’s some serious lift on the front. How’s your cv angles look? That bumper and winch will drop the front at least an inch

Finally got around to taking a couple measurements:
Left front: 22.50"±.10"
Right front: 22.50"±.10"
Note that I have full steel bumpers, winch, RTT, complete under body armor, jerry cans, recovery gear, etc. on my rig ALL the time.
So my height may be a wee bit lower than some.

Awesome. What do you have going on in the back? You didn't keep your bags did you?

Nope, need me to measure the back also? I'll get to it a little later this afternoon.

I think it would be good if you used icon springs to list the actual numbers (measurements and spring choice if possible) for the next guy that is eyeing them, but no rush. I just hoped this would be helpful for the next type-A hole like me who obsesses over spring choice and final ride height : ) .

I'm going to pick up some parts from Lexus later in the week and I'll try to find a stock GX on the lot to measure the factory new numbers to post. That way people can see how saggy they are as well.

As mentioned, I'll post my rear height later today.
But for what I have on there presently, if you go to my build thread, post #4, is my shopping list of everything I've done regarding suspension, lights, batteries, compressor and armor that Yotamasters did.
Does not include some of the other little things I've done like MOLLE racks, inverter, addition power ports, etc.

I was a little concerned at first due to the height, but the lift has settled a bit and the angles don't look that bad anymore. I think now the front numbers are closer to 23.5" or so after a year and a few trips. The rears might have settled a bit more due to the fact that I've been towing lately.

It'd probably be perfect if I had the winch and bumper installed, but at this point I'm debating whether to install them (so if anyone is looking for a brand new DV8 bumper for a 460 let me know). The front springs aren't too stiff to make the ride harsh, but if I were to go back I might have gone with medium springs

Good idea Jake, I think this will be a helpful reference. Here are my specs:

Love it. How did you get so much more lift than me in the front! You’re sitting like an inch taller than me in front with the same setup. Did you adjust preload at all or set them up yourself?
