Boy this forum is great! I have all these concerns about replacing my BJ60 with an 80 I know you guys can answer my questions.
Anyway I have a heavy rook rack made in Australia (forget the name) and it clamps on to the rain gutter on my 84-BJ60. I use it for my boat. Anyway I think I can fit it on to a 80 gutter but I'm worried that door rubber gasket might tear on it. I see lot's of guys with pictures of racks mounted in a similar fashion - any problems? will it work?
