I can't find a color chart..

I'm really liking this idea! Thanks for posting it.

So, it's only good until the next wheel balance and rotation? Touch-up or a complete re-spray would have to be done after a wheel weight is moved or the wheel is chucked up on a balance machine.

I would be more interested in spraying my front and rear bumper covers. I would probably go with automotive paint on the wheels.

Great topic. been thinking about what I could do my wheels but struggling with a complimentary colour choice.

I went to dilyourcar's site and see that you can actually dip your whole rig. Anyone done this (or even vaguely contemplating doing so?)

That's true, I mostly used it to see how I would like the color. I haven't been on the trails with it so I can't speak to the durability offroad. On road, as long as your not scraping curbs, it holds up well. One tip I have for application is to mask the tires, or put a coat of tire shine on to make removing the excess easier. I didn't do that and it's proves to be a PITA to get off otherwise.

I have no delusions that this will last with serious off road abuse. But then again, neither did my rattle can job. This stuff is made to be easy to remove and can and will stick without any surface prep other than cleaning. My plan is wheels and bottom of doors in the anthracite as well as all badges and anything else that is chrome on my LX. This is all just a plan, as I need to fix my steering rack bushings first.

This stuff is pretty cool, I think I'm going to wind up doing my gold emblems this week. If you google dipyourcar there are a ton of different videos on application, durability, color choices, etc.

I've got a couple buddies at work that have used in their badges and they say it was easy and lasts pretty good. Anthracite is the way to go!

So I was buying other paint at Lowes and decided to snag a can of the regular black. I did my whole grill to get rid of the chrome border and gold emblem. I think it turned out great. Now I have to do the back emblems. I did two really solid coats and it seems to be good, I hope it holds up.\

EDIT: here's a pic

@koifish did you hit your whole grill? I'd like to really see the anthracite in the light if you can show us.

Front/rear bumpers, trim and wheels. I'll be testing out the gold metallic on the wheels soon. Full on pressure washing won't make it peel.

Got the supposedly exclusive to Dipyourcar.com "charcoal" Plasti-Dip for my wheels...got 2 done a couple days ago and the color is more like a dark gun metal blue...it has a pronounced blue color to it. Definitely would have preferred "charcoal"...
