Awesome videos

Will definitely have to make a trip out of this.

I know some other guys going March 14th weekend. I've been thinking about it. Sounds like a really good trip, especially if I could get some more Landcruisers to go.

I went years ago, and my SAS'd 4runner at the time on 35's and locked was put to its limit.(ended up on my side, broken rear locker, and sheared knuckle studs). But despite that it was a awesome park, and Skip was def on point and super helpful. Camped on site, and the guy staying at the park over night on watch even took us out on a night wheeling adventure that was pretty hairy. Id love to get back down there.

Guys who have been can say more but I've hear the park has all different level trails. There's a whole range of trails and I heard that most of the obstacles have bypasses.
I'm not trying to follow buggies around but it would be fun to get close and watch.

The map that Izzy posted (it's also on the website) shows the easy and intermediate trails form the main loops from which all other trails branch off. Gulches says this was done to allow for even beginners to be able to get to the harder trails to observe them. The buggies should make for good watching.

If you look at the "map" under the official map, you can see where I went with my fairly stock rig with newbie driver. Used lockers a couple of times, more because I never had and needed to use them for swagging rights. There was only one trail that I did have a pucker factor increase incident, the truck was teetering literally on 2 opposing diagonal wheels and I thought I was in for a close tree encounter, but having done the same thing a few times at the Land Rover school (with instructor next to me and no trees), I just did the 2 foot driving and slowly managed to get out without incident. Instruction works....repetition of instruction makes it even better. I recommend the Uwharrie Off-Road driving school, Scott Field has great experience.
