It's still a long ways off but I'm guessing Wednesday would be my choice for traveling down. Gives you Thursday, Friday , Saturday to wheel, Sunday return trip. Still thinking about the cabin ?

I like Wednesday too. It would be cool to get a group to travel in convoy. It's about an 8-9 hour trip down there.
I am still thinking about the cabin idea, but if everone else is going to camp (free) then I'll go where the people are (especially if I have and RTT):grinpimp:.

For 4 people it would be $100 a person. A cabin sounds nice exceptionally the night before an 6 hour drive home. And if I read correctly (usually I don't.) It'only $55 for a park pass for 3 days. That sound to low but can't find the park driving rate.

It's actually only $44 for a driver for 3 days. If there are others interested in the cabin idea, post up and we'll discuss. We could defry the cost by charging for kitchen, shower and toilet use (graduated scale for #1 or #2 and an xtra stench tax could be levied)

I'm going to try and register tomorrow.

How kid friendly might this event be? I'd like to bring my boy who'll be almost 4 years old. Still trying to convince the wife to let me take him though. How late do evening "activities" usually go till?

there were kids there at the last one, from toddlers to teens.

The campsites were fairly chill and you could choose to drink and mickybomb or pass out. However, it is at a different location than last year.

Tracy, remember that kid talking about the dog?

It looks like STLCA is in charge again so I would expect it to be kid friendly. The raffle is very kid friendly, especially if you're missing a tooth.

I think most all of the events are kid frendly. There are some areas that get rowdier late at night but most of us have kids and try and keep it kid frendly when they are around.

Except the Burbin tasting run we had a couple of years ago! Burl was not been the some sence.

Either way, bring foam ear plugs... It helps immensely.

X2 on the earplugs!!! It makes for a fun night around camp though! The citronella keeps the bugs away :)
