Mark your calendars folks! GSMTR is back with an all new venue, new trails, same great people, spectacular vendors and huge raffle.

Bring the whole family for an entire week of wheeling (4WD/MX/ATV), cruiser talk (tall tales), good food, competition, great vendors, swap meet, and more.

This fairly new +500 acre facility features 4WD, ATV & MX trails, a couple fishing ponds, ample tent camping and RV sites, children's playground, a huge pavilion with 4 smaller pavilions, 5 bunkhouse rooms that sleep 3-4, real bathroom facilities (no portajohns) and lots of open grassy lawn space for field activities.

So what do you guys want to do? Have you thought about coming up as a group. Maybe put your name on one of the events going on that week? Have you thought about what you wanted to do for the event. You just as much a part of this event as anyone and I want y'all to have input on it's direction. It's your money as well that's being spent and made.

Do I need to come down there and work on some cruisers and drink all your beer to get you fired up about this event? Don't tempt me. I will.

I still dont know about ability to get off of work for 5 days to go up..I know Dbenke and a couple others are talking about it for sure...I am still uncertain. Will depend on work, engine swap, and other things so late May will be my date even if I just come up alone and leave wife here and pitch a tent or sleep in truck.

I am working on a planned/guided trip up to Burgess Falls SP for a little hike and scenic viewing of the three big waterfalls just north of Sparta. Looks pretty nice up there.

You don't have to come up the whole time. Heck find someone with a plane that will drop you off. Lol It's only like a mile from the place. Heck I'll pick you up.

Last time I succumbed to peer pressure many many years ago there was moonshine, naked women, and lots of questions to answer to police and some parents. It is 30 years later but...mmmm No thanks. LOL

I am going to try and get up there...but not sure I would want to go and not wheel.

Scott and I are leaving at O dark-thirty on Wednesday morning. I'll be glad to help out with anything after wheeling!!

We could use some help with organizing some of the non motorsport activities...volleyball, baseball/softball, horseshoes. Someone who can organize a game between chapter clubs or just pick-up games.

We completed a pre-run this weekend and this place is really cool. So much more than just an ORV park...Marshall posted a good trip report and I'll have pics and vids up soon.
