We're going to get stuff to make whatever meals we'd like, and cook in the kitchen of the cabin. Or at least that's the plan right now ;) I'm sure we'll plan out meals better after the first day.

Whats to plan? Beer.. check, jerky.. check, potato chips.. check, spare parts for truck.. check.

Good to go!

Ok, need to get time off from work. That would be my deal breaker.

Bret, you're gong to join us?!?!

Just talked to Luis, looks like his mom is going to go as well - which means we'll have good meals!!!

FYI, 4 Wheel and Offroad mag this month has a small writeup on a bunch of Heep's at Windrock this past winter. Gettin' me even more excited about this trip!!

I hate to miss out on a great trip :frown:
But Rubithon is two weeks after GSMTR. I just can't pull off two trips so close together.
Next year!

Well, my truck had better be ready at this point...

Luis and I got it weighed - 13.8k on the trailer axles, 6.5k on his rear axle, and 5kish on the front. Total came out to 25k.

A view from the back porch this beautiful AM. Looking forward to the trail ride to check this monstrous place out today. Over 300 miles of trails.

I don't think I can do that on one tank!!

How many hours on the road did it take you? Need me to bring anything?
cooking utensils
Beer
toilet paper
Scotch
salt and pepper
moonshine
soap....

Post frequent pics for those of us attending vicariously!

Gosh, it's beautiful. The cabins look fun; you guys are going to have a great time.

Do you get good mobile Internet service there? Seriously, real time photos would be great.

Pat

Greg it took us 12 hours but we had a convoy doing 65 the whole way with 5 kids in the cars so there were way too many stops, and your list looks great. there's a grocery and a Walmart within 10 minutes. we got food for today and half tomorrow we plan on going back after you're here. . Pat I have 4G at the camp on the trails it varies. real time will be tricky but daily defiantly.

It is beautiful! You should come next year!

Mobile Internet is good in camp and on half of the trails. On the other side of the mountain it's zero coverage for AT&T.
