Just to give credit where credit is due, those were Loud's photos I reposted and his effort to try and have the JBA headers fitted.UZJ100: Good work! Has he seen hoser's photo of the limited clearance on the driver's side (steering shaft)?

I would be in for a set but my 1998 manifolds are still good! Plus, I think I already blew the 100 series budget for this fiscal year![]()
The price is 642 if we get 20 folks. I am sure we could take up a collection for the loaner LC. My biggest concern is that we only have 4 out of 20 signed up.
Nick at DT said the gain should be about the same as the tundra which works out to about a 10% gain. 10% seems a bit high however I hope he is right.
Just to point out the maybe not so obvious. The dyno chart posted on the TS site compares the 4.7 with catback exhaust vs the 4.7 with catback AND their headers. Would've been nice to have all stock and headers only dynos as well.Nick at DT said the gain should be about the same as the tundra which works out to about a 10% gain. 10% seems a bit high however I hope he is right.
On a side note I just found a guy that was getting rid of his brand new stainless Boost Brothers headers for the 05-06 Tundra V8 ($140!). Construction looks pretty good, 7/16" thick flanges. I will be looking at this to fit onto the LC engine soon. I will let you guys know what the difference is between the fitment of a Tundra vs. LC. I've been emailing both Gibson and Thorley about the difference but they do not know and could not give me an answer. Stay tuned.....
I'd like to know if their headers would be fine with the current borla cat back that I have. I wouldn't want to change the borla cat back. Also would it use the exact same tight space as the stock pipes? Because many of us have some modifications to their engin bay etc. that might interfere with the headers.
Provided that my concerns are addressed along with what spressomon raised in post #26, count me in.![]()
