I have been using the dual bank Powermania Turbo for the past dozen years or so but one bank recently died and am using solar with Victron MPPT charge controllers to keep the dual Odysseys happy. Yes, when the 100 isn't being driven, which is much of every year these days it seems, I keep the batteries on the charger. There's no harm if the charger/s are multi-profile "smart" chargers.
15+ years ago there wasn't the plethora of suitable battery chargers available as today. I also have a 30A Victron charger I use for the LFP in the Escape trailer when connected to shore power. But it would be a great charger for the Odysseys but not dual bank.
