New Feet & New Shoes!

Finally this little project gets checked off the list. The old gal is sportin' some new kickers! :bounce::bounce2::bounce:

With the work I did on the prefit, everything mounted up without a hitch. The new KM2's are a night and day differance from the old Big O - Big Foots that came with the rig. As I suspected the remainder of my following the grooves issue was in the tread design of those tires. No more wandering with these! Amazingly the springs also softened up nicely, guess it wasn't them after all. ;p

Damn, now I suppose I gotta get her a new dress!:flipoff2:

If anyone is interested, my old "New" spare is for sale in the classifieds.

Your rig looks good! Glad you got the brakes working.

I did the same thing on my mustang in order to fit skinnies for drag racing. I also had the issue that they were not hub centric and would not stay seated evenly. I used rolled up toilet paper to give them the correct spacing while I fastened the wheels to apply enough pressure to keep them in place.

:)

Also, grinding calipers with a Dremel is a *****. It wasnt until later that I graduated to an air grinder.

Hahahaha! I love it! I think I'll steal your TP idea to center my rear rotors while I put the wheels on.:D
