The truck is running excellent, purrs along with tons of power (relative to the 3B). Weird thing is, the RM132E Aug 1988 engine manual just arrived...and guess what the recommended injector pressure is? 125kg/cm2!

Funny thing is, in the specifications section, it recommends a "test nozzle" pressure of 155kg/cm2, which I guess is the bench test for volume.

I don't know, what do you guys think? Should I put it back down or leave it?

In any case, it's good to have the manual.

BTW, I ran into Rob from RaddCruisers today at Canuck Tire....buy that JDM Rob!

if it ain't broke don't fix it !!!!

KISS!! leave it alone...
BTW, i looked up some specs today as well and the JDM rotory pumps are set to a lower fuel than the Austr and euopeen ones. i cranked the fuel up on the 2LT and what a difference it made...
you might want to try that as well
cheers

Yeah, it is like a different animal...it accelerates through the gears faster than I can change them now, and the idle is like a purr.

I'm not going to touch it.

Tommorrow I install the new Pioneer CD deck and 12 volt fuse box.

Hey Moose.

Glad it is running better for you! I am about the farthest thing from an injection tech...:)

Is there an upper and lower spec for the bench test pressure? Some of the stats I see can allow anywhere from a 20kg/cm2 to a 30 kg/cm2 between the upper and lower numbers for used nozzles...

Talk to your friendly injection shop and see what they say. I believe there are a couple of injection guys who lurk the DTLC. Maybe post your question there and see if they give their thoughts.
