Thought I would get this rolling. Uploading pics to Woody in a few minutes to host of the event.

Just wanted to say it was a sweet event. Ivan Stewart, Marv Specter, Toyotas gang, beer, BBQ and of course the FJs were there two black cherrys and a yellow and a blue there. What more could you ask for.

And for those of you who say it has a big blind spot. I will say yes it does. I don't give a crap. Get some round mirrors to stick on the outside mirrors and you will not have a problem. It is big inside and really nice with no front visibility problems. I am definetly getting one of these.

The event was awesome anyone not from SC or the surrounding area be jealous. Toyota gave us a huge goodie bag with a shirt, hat, toolbag, dvd, etc. Excellent food and the cruiser was alright. Still not a big fan but I do think its a nice rig and would recommend taking a look at it to all.

A bit off topic, but did anyone at the event prod Toyota for info on the 100 series Land Cruiser future?

335 total images.....processing in the gallery software right now....should be completely online in 5 minutes....

awesome photos, great details on everything! Thanks for sharing those!

Toyota drivers said they used them as support vehicles for testing FJ on Rubicon
thats about it

oopsss almost forgot, THANKS Trollhole for taking pics and Woody for hosting them!

some other info:

- Full tech specs will be online after the holidays in january
- TRD package will include bilstein shocks and BFG ATs
- in dealers by the end of march
- there has been talk about a diesel and it has not been ruled out, however, no official word one way or another.
- rear diff lock of course with traction controlled front
- bumpers that were on the FJs there were prototypes and will differ slightly from production as with the door panels

this and that

Man, that event was AWESOME! They had dang near as many technical
people and Stars as there were quests. All were very friendly and mingled
so as to answer ANY question you might have.
Ivan "Ironman" Stewart was soooooo cool a guy. I really enjoyed
shooting the breeze with him and Marv Spector. Really nice people.
So approachable and down to earth. Those guys ROCK.
The drivers and techinical dudes were just as nice.
Engineer told me OME is already available. Truck kit drops right in.
You can run 33s without rub with the OMEs on.
ARB locker for front is same. Truck drop in. Drooling.....
Those skids look like some Slee stuff. Well...maybe not THAT nice, but
slick stuff none the less. Some body stuff looks like it's sacrific stuff.
I joked with Marv and Ironman about whether the front canards
helped with subsonic flight. ;) The Toyota lady suggested it would help with stall speeds. :)
Very clean looking underneath. The PR lady cracked up about how
we all dove UNDER the truck. LOL....cruiserheads...what ya gonna do?
Looks like a long options list too....drooling again.
I like the blue one.
I even liked the opening videos on all those big screens. :)
First class.
Oh, and the pulled pork weren't too bad either.

Thanks Brian. Anytime.

There was some talk of a removable top, it sounded to me that if the toyota FJ/landcruiser community leans more on the issue that it would be a possibility. But then again toyota is not going to say yes or no, so.......my answer is maybe. LOL
