This 2001 Atlantis Blue Mica Land Cruiser offers an ownership experience of pure excess. Starting from the top, we are graced with premium tan leather interior crafted from real live dead cows. Up front, we have a pair of fully adjustable dual option heated seats as well as a back reclining forward folding second row for maximized comfort in all positions. From an entertainment perspective, we are presented with a post-iphone era head unit offering Bluetooth connectivity and a whole slew of additional functions that will go unused. Factory installed crash mitigation features include a windshield mounted rearview mirror and exterior mounted door mirrors for those obsessed with what’s behind them. Worthless features absent in this model include lane change assist, obstruction warning, automatic braking, and rearview camera all of which can be found on the list of cancer causing substances in the state of California. Speaking of communists, this beautiful Land Cruiser is ready to conquer the most rigorous of emission testing in the overpopulated metropolitan district of your choosing. A long list of maintenance items completed October 2023 at 240,287 miles include, an Aisin timing belt/water pump, Denso radiator, heater T’s, complete coolant flush, complete 14 quart atf exchange, power steering pump/fluid exchange, and a factory style exhaust system with replacement cats resulting in a well sorted 100 series for years to come. Additional October enhancements include a set of forged rock warrior wheels wrapped in 315/70/17 Goodyear Territory tires, OME torsion bars, and a set of amber ditch lights sitting on low profile stainless mounts. Also worth noting is a powerful snorkel that expresses dominance in the most inappropriate of situations. Icing the cake, we have a 5kw diesel heater fitted in the rear quarter with a 2.5 gallon diesel tank for those cold lonely nights spent alone in your cruiser. This rig resided in South Carolina until 2020 when the original owner moved up to Minnesota. As seen in the photos, the frame, rockers, and lift gate reassure that it has not seen a life of the salt mines as so commonly seen in the Midwest. Overall it has been a fantastic vehicle that drives as well as it looks. The bodywork has a few scrapes and bumps but has significantly less damage than most 23 year olds. I would love to keep this rig around but there are a number of other projects in the works and I can’t drive them all. We’re currently sitting at 243,209 miles and the only thing it needs is a new owner to take it on more adventures.
