That sounds like a great deal.. how about mounting and balancing?

Are the BFG's as long lasting as the OEM LTX's (michelin)?

That assumes a pre-existing 35" tire. I'd be moving up from 33's.

That is a very good price, better than I paid for my 315 a/ts with the BFG sponsor discount.

Dang! That is a good price. For that price you could go to an AT for the road and light wheeling and pick up a set of Iroks for the serious stuff for less than $1500. Compared to buying one set of Toyo MTs at their current crazy prices and paying almost $1200 for one set. Plus they'd last a lot longer. I'm happy with my Toyos but their price has gotten outrageous in my opinion.

Are you able to find a local place to M&B with one of those "life-time" balance deals? How about road hazard insurance?

I take my BFG M/Ts back to the place I got them about every 3 months for a rebalance. It seems like every time I go in the rocks a weight gets knocked off and they start the shimmy deal.

Discount Tire will m&b for $11-15 ea., with lifetime balance and rotation. No road hazard. BFG's have a 55k treadlife warranty and for punctures, I'll just pay to have the plug put in, last I remember it was under $20. I ran BFG AT's before my current MTRs and never had a flat or blowout (knock on wood).

Next best price I could find was Costo (they have a $60 off 4 tires coupon right now). Tires were $209 ea. installed, minus coupon, plus tax I was at $825. With what I just ordered, I'll be at $740.
