Behold the power of MUD! 5000 filters sold in 2 days! :)

I bought 10 of these. Got mine and already used one. Great deal. I just wish I had purchased more!

got my 15 last week also, with my supply of a few small Japanese filters and one of the large OEM filters still on the shelf, I think I can change the oil for the next 5 years or more...now we need a deal on gallon jugs of oil

My batch of 20 arrived last week as well. Looks like a great filter. Can't beat the price. If I ever do an engine swap in the future I'll sell you guys my leftovers :flipoff2:

UPF53 is the model#...they don't make the Ultraguard line anymore so...only PF models currently available.
Maybe some NOS could be hunted down??:meh:

If yur still lookin'...I found some here: http://www.oehq.com/oeparts_ACDUPF53.htm
Appears it's a case of 6 for $20?? You could get 18 for around $3.50 each, if I read it right.:meh:

Look at you guys, what a bunch of filter hoarding paranoid Nancy's! Heh, just bummed I missed out completely....

I have a single original Toyota small filter (..0004 I think) left on my shelf as somewhat of a shrine to their passing so I guess I'm in the anally retentive filter weenie club as well. FYI for those who missed out, call your local NAPA and ask them when their next filter sale happens. I always buy a case of the NAPA Gold 1515 which is made by WIX and a very high quality filter as well. Ask for the "pro pack" style case (or something similar) which gets them shrink wrapped without the cardboard box and they're even cheaper. Nicer on a garage shelf as well as the cardboard case box that contains your filter acts as a nice way to hold them as you deplete the supply. I think the sale is always half price and doing the above get me this filter for barely over $3 each if I recall correctly.

Nice find! When you add them to the cart, they come out to something like $17-something instead of $20. There's a coupon I found that is also supposed to get you another 5% off - oehq2013 - but I couldn't get it to apply in the final checkout? Odd? Either way, I just stocked up on a bunch since they fit the 470 in addition to the 450.

My name is Eric, and I'm an oil filter hoarder. :hillbilly:

Thanks for this! I found a surplus reseller that had about 2,500 of the standard oil filter - not ultraguard. That would have been a find!

Ordered 12 to compliment the 10 -20004 filters sitting on the shelf.

What kind of OCI are you guys doing? I usually do 4,500 with Rotella 15w-40. I know it depends on the oil but just wondering.

What will your OCI be with these filters?

twice a year or at 5000 miles. Usually works out to around 4500 miles on my twice a year interval. I plan no changes with these filters.
