Great day trout fishing

I went fishing this morning to an undisclosed location with Jason (jfz80) and we both caught alot of fish, we hadnt been there 30 minutes and I hooked a big rainbow, its a pretty small stream but I've caught some big fish there last year but this is definitely the biggest I've caught. We were using ultra light spinning tackle and small inline spinners and they produced well all morning. Heres a pic of the rainbow it measured 20" I dont know how well the girth will show up in the pic but it sure is a pig.

no; in true tradition steve was not to be outdone on the water. I could have caught my limit of nice fish, oh wait i think i did, and this guy would have weighed more than all of them!! Definately the biggest rainbow ive seen in NC waters. I told him to go to Nobles and offer up the appalachian salmon special It was a great day in the water and while steves will look better on the trophy plate mine sure looked good tonight on the dinner plate

i swear i had 5 in the cooler when we left the stream ?????

Very nice! I've been a couple times but not as many as usual. Too much to do, too little time.

We'll have to trade honey hole info Steve. I've got some super, double secret, top producers that never fail too.

very cool pics guys. maybe once we get settled in the new house, we can start talking about the next cruiser project. I have an idea in the works that will take some time, but should turn out pretty cool.
