I have a lift made of square tubing that serves to lift the RTT up and down. I would like to grease the tubing to prevent rust and make it easier to lift. I do not want a heavy grease that will attract dirt or stick to me when I am around it. I have tried the dry spray on stuff with only limited success.

Try some silicone spray or even spray furniture polish. Neither one of those should collect dirt.

Dust is why I tried the m/c chain wax in the first place. I use it on door hinges, door opening limiters, things where I don't want dust and dirt building up. Dust and dirt don't stick to it.

Do any of the big box stores carry the chain wax?

Not that I know of, but nearly any motorcycle store will have it and finding it online shouldn't be too difficult either..
