With all the plate work in that dodge bumper it looks as if you have your plasma table up and running...?
Got a thread going on that project too?

A, I wish, I cut each piece for that bumper.

That's just mad skill!!

J, its really not that hard.. Sort of like building a jacked up house of cards...... :meh: Just start at a point, cut until you like the shape and then duplicate that piece for the other side. tack everything up, weld it out once happy and smooth off everything.

I used a Rustoleum texture paint on this bumper and the sprayed black appliance paint over that. I was thinking it would be shiny/glossy but it ended up on the satin sheen side. We were very happy with the finish. Now to see if it holds up.

I believe that it is as straight forward as you say. But I think we are all amazed at how quickly you make it all happen! Keep up the good work. I have an idea for you. PM incoming.

PM received and replied to.

I had a friend years ago that was amazing at AutoCad. He could whip out a design on a bumper or flatbed in a matter of minutes it seemed like. I said the same thing about him.

...I use it to wrap all the hoses etc that I don't want painted... Much faster than tape!

Genius!

Sweet bumper on that Dodge too!

Its the best way to paint a motor in a vehicle that I have tried. Easy clean up too.

Yup works great on a chassis too when you don't want to tear it all down.

Cheers

If the part has any form to it and will hold the foil, I've used it there..

Hope to get started on the prep tomorrow.

OK, tired of looking at the "BEAT UP SMURF" (paint scheme on the 4BT) as I called it... Took a little time to do this, but IMO, WORTH IT! The cherry red and matte black are a better match for Goss now!

Looking sweet! CNC plasma would be the cats meow!

Do you have any full side profile pics of the bumper?
