Where do I start. Everytime I go over a speed bump or go down a dip and the truck comes up, there is a clanking noise from the front radflo shocks. Its a known problem. :bang:

Get used to the clanking. Most have this issue with their front Radflo's. They are too short.

Get use to the clanking??!!??! Should I ask for a longer shock? I took my truck to ORW, my droop is at 2 inches. They want to go 2.5 . Made another appointment for friday. DO NOT want the stink bug stance. These trucks are not to look like that. These are bad ass trucks! They need to look bad ass! Yes, I just got back from Blast Point Brewery.....

Are you in San Diego? Pm for a good shop in San Diego.

Pics for foxwing deployed...was expecting more coverage area. But its ok. Tepui Gran Savana big ass RTT on the way. Had to get 2 Yakima rail Grabbers with rods for it. Pics soon...

General Grabber red letter tire. Extremely popular in the desert community. Very quiet on the road. Tires are no where to be found anywhere. R16, no way, no where. R15 and some R18 you are good. They are on back order. Little expensive. I got them on craigslist. I was lucky not only to find them...but also got the size I wanted.

You got the wrong truck if you want the front set up to look bad ass...you can't do the California Tacoma pre runner stance with these rigs. Slight stink bug is necessary unless you insist on having it ride like crap. Many have tried and failed (including myself) to really crank the front and it does not provide a good riding vehicle. I like your Generals, a local guy has an 80 series with the 315s and he has great success with them. Also, I've heard that Sonny at Downsouth can fix up Radflos. The Nissan guys complain about the clanking Radflos too...nice looking build, btw.

Thanks Homie. I dont like the pre runner jacked all the way front end. I do want the level stance with the lift. Would I have been in the same situation with any shock?, (Fox, Slee, Kings)???? Taking my truck to ORW for a second time to lower 1/2"out front and do an alignment. I have an option to return shocks. The back radflos are right on. They feel awesome. This will be the last attempt for the radflos.

Installed Yakima rail grabbers on the rack in anticipation of the RTT. Hopefully the back will go down some what to get me more room to lower the front. Im praying. I think the tent weight is 175. According to the shipping freight info...if not....oh well, back to brewery to sob.

I just put in Bilstiens on all four, and I get a clank on speed bumps too...I also did Old Man Emu torsion bars and got a nice "almost level" look. Your LC is lookin very nice ...what's next? I'm just getting started on my 2000 LC...

You get the clanking too??? :bang::bang:, Man! whats going on?? Sorry to hear that brother. Drives me nuts...

Whats next? Im waiting for the RTT to arrive tomorrow. Get it installed on top.

On friday, hopefully Ill get the ARB fridge thru UPS. Start the wiring to the back for it.

Sliders and Drawers are on the list.....

Build is coming along nicely. How much offroad time do you have with your Radflos? Big hits, drops or whoops where your suspension really loads/unloads. I think that's where you'll really notice the problems.

I have no clanking since removing the Radflos and going back to OME. The folks running other high end shocks are not having that problem either.

Thanks for the compliment. I just got the shocks a month ago. No offroad yet. Just asphalt warrior for now. Hoping to go out some before it gets too hot out here in s.cali. Dont know if I want to try with the clanking. Hopefully the guys at ORW can help me tomorrow.

No RTT today. Fedex did not deliver, was hoping to take the truck to ORW with the RTT on top. Oh well.

Did finish the bumper with Sean the 80 series bumper guy. It came out great. Exceeded my expectations. Looking for a wheel spacer. 5x150. anyone?

I am guessing with the clanking you are running non-remote res shocks.

5x150 is the wheel size. A couple vendors here sell them and there is also
http://www.motorsport-tech.com/
that can make any size you want.

Edit: Also Think about using the Truck Shop on Miramar Rd. The prices are great and they know modified suspensions on Toyotas. They are the only place that touches my truck besides me....
