^^totally missed that... actually didnt look...

Gordito- I am headed up to Big Bear this weekend. If you havent resolved this, we should meet up soon. Maybe SanDiegoCruiser will join us. We all have the Radflo's. You can drive one of our rigs and I want to check out the clanking.

I was guessing a non-remote res shock because that seemed to be the trend I have seen...

Frank, I second the Truck Shop. Close to where you live!

Yes. That is how I found them. I have lifetime alignments with Firestone.... But they couldnt get their head out....

So, I got in touch with Total Chaos to find out who they recommend for my UCA's and was referred to them. They do great work for cheap!

Before you go adjusting your height again, measure from your edge of fender to the center of your wheel (cap removed). You want to be around 20.5". This is the sweet spot on our rigs. You can run higher, but you will have trade-off's. The way the truck is designed you want around 1-1.5" of rake from front to rear.... Ie. the rear higher. Like I said, you can level it... but there are trade-offs.

You know I'm interested after what I went through. Shoot me a text message or give me a call when you guys meet up. I want to hear about the clanking. Although, I'm pretty sure I know.

Thanks for the info. Im canceling ORW, going over to Truck shop. I just went outside to measure...Im at 22 inches. I got medium Ironman duty springs for the back. If I go down to 20.5" its going to look big time stink bug.

You know, might go down to 21".."F-IT"... hopefully RADFLO will add rubber stops instead of the metal in the shocks.

Hmmmm Beer....

Looks are personal. But, I would try 21" and see if you can live with it. Your truck will drive better and your CV's, steering rack, etc. will be happier. Or start saving for replacement parts....

I only say this because I have already been down this road.

Like I said, I am out of town this weekend. We can shoot for next week though.

Price them... Cdan, Lowe Toyota or others on here might be lower...

For the past few years I have used Beno almost exclusively, but he isnt doing much in parts right now....

So...started ,my day by ditching ORW. Went to Truck shop in San Diego from referrals from Mxndrkns and sandiegocruiser. Thank you guys for the heads up. SD truck shop is the bomb! They not only tweaked my TB down to 21" from center cap to fender lip, they also aligned my truck. Did have to wait a couple of hours....but it was worth every minute. My truck rides a lot better, feels like I am driving with the originals Michelin tires. CLANKING..:bang: is almost, almost nonexistent. I am, very happy with my truck. Thank you!

Installed the big booty, gigantic, princess, humongous, enormous, Tepui Gran Savana RTT on my truck. Did not know that it was going to be that big. Took practically the whole roof rack. Now to convince the wife....

Need beer..

Came home thinking that my ARB fridge and slide were waiting for me from UPS. Guess what, they left the slider, but no fridge. Will be back on Monday. Called, told them Ill pick it up asap. Waiting for the local office to call me so I can go to the dist center to pick up tonight. Will be camping at San Elijo state beach this weekend. Anyone in the area, come on by!

Need beer...

You're doing mods so fast you'll never get to appreciate what each one will do for you.

Get that thing out of the driveway and off the highway.

I have been doing this for a long time brother. Just have not had time to do it. Started with an 85 sr5 toy truck in the 80's. then went to a 73 fj55 pig cruiser. Got a 94 80 series in the late 90s to 2000s.

Always been one who would say, if I had a 100, this is what I would do.

Driven down to Cabo San Lucas. Many times to San Felipe BC, and also Puerto Peñasco.

Got hurt at work, have not gone back since Feb. did anything and everything to my house. If it wasn't for my truck, I think I would of jumped of my house roof along time ago.
Im happy and excited I'm never, ever going to rely on a ice chest ever again!

Glad James took care of you at the Truck Shop. Great to hear you eliminated the Radfail clanking. Time to celebrate over the worlds finest IPA - Sculpin!
