I like the FJC wheels, too. Did Tire Rack or anyone else show the relative rolling radii of that size Duratrack vs 15x10x31 MTRs?

Roger at Taint Paint in the Springs has done my powder painting for years: 800 733-8374. He makes a weekly run to Blast-Tech in Englewood so you could drop your wheels off & pick them up there.

Dura Trac's

I have them on my plow truck. They kick arse for plowing.

Does anyone have any long-term reports on these tires? My old work used them, but not on a Cruiser. I'm looking to get them because of they are a good blend of snow and mud. The reviews on Tirerack.com are high. And they are load range E.

Put them on my wife's Pathfinder about 10k ago, ride nice, wet handling is off a smidge from our old Toyo ATs as was snow performance but they are wearing nicely.

I will buy them again.

How many miles are people getting on them? How are they in snow/mud/highway?

Still a pretty new tire, havn't heard from any 40k milers yet.

Decent in snow, great in mud and surprisingly quiet on highway. The Toyo MTs on my Tundra are way louder.

My buddy has 57K on his and probly 10k left before he reloads, and they love the snow:popcorn:

To all the guys wondering about this tire, I sell tires for a living and if I had 1k to blow on stuff my cruiser needs it would be a new set of Duratrac tires. Goodyear is a so so tire company from a to z, but they absolutely hit this one out of the park. They do great off road, they are quiet(really) they wear like Iron 50-70k average depending on application, and lastly they are amazing in the snow.

Get them
2cents

I just mounted a set up of 31x10.5x15's and so far so good. I got them studded for the winters.

If the truck wasn't getting new bearings and gears I would have some pics (Coming soon I swear)

We have had packed snow on the roads in Aspen for about 3 weeks. As long as I don't have an empty tank  (with regular at $4.50 around here that happens!) I have awesome traction.

The lugs do grab some rocks really good and tend to fling them towards the undercarraige but they hookup on almost everything like glue.

Excited to see how deep on some trails I can take them...

Would love to see some of your guys cars (60s or not) with these on them. Seen them on a couple cars around (Tahoes mostly) and wondering how they are, look super aggressive but wondering about the road manners.
Really when I get my cruiser I will want to put a good pair of shoes on her as the first major investment. I will want something that has the snowflake, we get snow in Carson, but mostly they will be about 65% road and 35% off-road. Winter driving will have to be able to deal with snow, packed and loose, with some ice and rain. Really it is becoming a toss up between these, BFG ATs, Cooper S/T (Maxx) or General Grabber AT2.

Put the spacers on and mounted the tires. I am really pleased with this setup. I am debating on painting the rims black, but we'll see. Here are the pics.

Too bad you had to use the spacers. Those are sharp looking wheels. Please don't paint them black. I don't understand the appeal. Regardless of vehicle color, black wheels invariably look awful.

I love my duracracks. I had them on my 80 the last two winters and they were freaking awesome. They wear great, are good on the hwy (did a 6000km road trip with them), and if youre used to mud tires youll notice a huge difference in ride quality. I threw them on my tacoma for a bit this fall and, compared to the 5 year old bfg km1's that I usually run on that truck, they were night and day.

Very good overall tire.

Sorry if this has been asked, I did skim.

Are these available for the stock rims in 33"s?

Just put 5 31x10.50x15s on my '56 F100 10' bed glass truck - solved the squirrely handling with the 15YO 235/75/R15s. Road noise not bad, snow handling good. Wish they made 33x10.50x15s for my '84 60 (only 33x12.50x15s - don't like for snow). Sick of the Goodrich MTRs - they suck in the snow & are terribly noisy on the highway.
