I blew two on the 100 so never again on that truck. On a light truck that sees light use they are great. Last failure a buddy poked and prodded the unmounted failure and said "Well dude, those are puny side walls, you need to run the 'E' sidewalls" I pointed to the 'E' mark on that sidewall and he laughed. So even the E sidewall is not up to my needs.

Street tires? I think a lot of the community here are looking at aggressive AT and MT tires, for THOSE they mostly seem to be E rated. can't say I've seen a C rated tire in the size yet

General Grabber A/T 2, Cooper Discoverer S/T, Maxxis Buckshot mudder 2, Pro Comp Extreme Mud Terrain, Yokohama Geolander MT, Nitto Terra Grappler. Just a few that are available in 'D'. Several of THESE are very aggressive.

Not gonna lie,

I guess advertising and product placement can work.

I was dead set on a set of 285 KO2s, however after watching Team XO with their 100 in Alaska I have been considering just going wth the AT2s by General.

Good Year DT's I have loved them up until the delamination of the carcass and side wall, it has tumer like bumps and will not hold air, I have another one failing this is my DD, they are 285's got about 20K on them worn more than 50%, not really happy, I am hoping to get a warranty soon, I am not sure if I'd buy another set . BTW I have bad luck, so I am probably the only one here that has had this issue

Add me to the sidewall failure club. Was out on mission last night, and noticed a HUGE (4" inch) split in the sidewall. No corresponding abrasion. Tire still holding air and I have the replacement warranty, but I think I will likely switch back to KO2s for winter. I switched to the Duratrac because they wouldn't stud the KO2s.

I find them loud. I run 285/75/16 E Load 40psi on the street. They are about half baked now but found the wa-wa-wa sound annoying on the highway from day one.
They do grip like s*** to a wool blanket though.
