Goodbye Little Buddy

Had to say goodbye to my Little Buddy today. I was actually too late to say goodbye to him while he was around. Was outside working with the tractor and came in to get some lunch and since i always share it with him i went to his room to tell him and he was gone.

Will miss this big lapdog. Please make sure you stop and pet / play with your pooches while you can. Take that time out of your day because you never know when it will end. He was only 3.5 human years old.

Worst phone call i have ever had to make to the wife at work.

Thanks all. This is the second dog of ours in 4 years we have had taken from us. With Roly our Rottie we got 15 years from him before he passed. Now with only 3 years from Little Buddy Robin is not taking it well at all. Time will heal though.

I knew eventually i would need to use my tractor to bury an animal, just not this soon and not him.

Very sorry to hear about your loss Darin. The cruel truth about dogs is that they don't live long enough as it is, but 3.5 years is way too short. My condolences.

yeah I had to put down a German Shorthair bird dog in 95....our fawn Bullmastif in 2003....and hoping our current 8 year old brindle red Bullmastiff will make it a few more years even though she is 9 years old and deemed old for the breed.

Hard to lose an old friend like that...I feel for your loss.
