hey guys,
Got some pretty typical leaks on my 77 so i want to get em all sealed back up. Rear main, diffs, transfer case i think. Anyone used anyone in the charlotte or surrounding areas that has done good cruiser work. I would try myself but i am currently without my garage.

Anyone? someone?

I've never used them but have heard good things:

Toyota Techs
2788 Hwy 21 Business
Fort Mill, SC 29715
704-377-9333

About 15-20 minutes from downtown off the Carowinds exit.

I stopped by and shot the crap with one of the owners (Mark) one day when I was driving by and saw a bunch of 40s in the front parking area.

Hey, Ive never used Toyota Techs either. But I have talked to both Mark Enos and Johnny Croft on many occasions and they are both great to work with. They do alot of Toyota trucks also and they are currently building an all aluminum fj40. Not to mention they have about 10 fj40 laying around (that they will NOT get rid of, trust me).

If you are in the north Charlotte area, try Autoworks in downtown Huntersville. Talk to Dale, he is a certified Toyota tech and loves 40s.

Haven't needed to go to him yet for the FJ40, but he did some work on me and my neighbors Discoverys for the last 4 - 5 years and is always knowledgeable, honest and reasonable on rates.
