Good diesel mechanic in Portland, Oregon

Hello,
I have a friend who needs a good mechanic's opinion on a diesel VW van in Portland. I know this isn't cruiser related but figured you diesel cruiser guys might have a good idea of who the good mechanics are in the Portland area. Thank you very much for any help and suggestions.

I should say that she is passing through Portland on Sunday and needs help looking at the van by someone who knows what to look for. Its an old VW carat van with a newer VW turbo diesel swapped in. Thanks.
