Greeting to all,

1999 UZJ100 with 155k miles clean undercarriage. Normal wear on the outside and inside. Rough estimate of how much that would be worth? Photos will be shared in the following days

I wouldn't pay anything over 10k for it.... Just my 2 cents.

Pay what it’s worth TO YOU. If you find the right 100 that checks all of your boxes don’t let it slip away because someone else says it’s too much. I would gladly pay 1-3k or more over what someone else might consider the value if it’s right for me. A 100 that checks all of MY boxes is definitely worth more to ME.

I got something similar to that for 6k. the only issue was a little paint pealing on the drivers side. Everything else was in great condition. But I would not give more than 9k actually for a 1999. But thats just me..

It’s all about the condition and maintenance that has been done. I bought a ‘99 in May of this year. Vehicle had 205K, but was a local seller. It was completely stock except for the updated head unit. It was a soccer-mom cruiser that had probably never been off-road. It had a few garage scratches and door dings. All service done at the dealer for the last 16 years. I paid 8200. I saw prices all over the place as I looked for a 100 earlier this year.

I paid $8900 for my 1998 LC a year ago (165k miles, clean, smelled good inside). I feel like I stole it... someone else might feel differently.
I agree with the comment of "pay what it's worth to you".

I would say no more than $8-10k

I paid 14,500 for a 2005 LX470 w/ 135k miles from a private dealer, great condition chassis for year (minimal-to-no-rust), and only non-disclosed "gotchas" so far have been Levinson-related (and fixed at low cost by me), poor maintenance on AHC, and fasteners in poorer condition than I expected after my initial visual inspection.

Based on NADA/KBB, I did ok. Dealer was a nice guy, low pressure, and gave me all the time in the world to look over the vehicle.

Don't feel like I stole the car, nor feel "taken." I'm gonna get crucified for this, but me thinks the guys that say "pay what it's worth to you" are usually the same guys who beat up a seller, detail the car, then hope they can convince you to line their pockets w/ a few grand. I've seen it several times on ExPo, and those guys make me sick. Used car dealers are one thing..they have an overhead, have to make a living, and are expected to ge...ummm,..usually a bit less tha forthcoming. But..guys who are ostensibly kindred aficianados who buy low/sell high on enthusiast sites? Got no use for that, personally...

Sounds like I'm attacking the guus in this thread who stated that... I'm not. I haven't been here long enough to see it happen here. A couple guys on ExPo..well...they make me sick and embarassed to be a human.

My relatively un-informed short answer? 8k, maybe 9k if it's beautiful, well maintained, records, timing belt/water pump done, etc.

I paid $11500 for a 2006 with 197K miles 8 months ago. One owner (kind of)! Lots of dealer service (up to 140K miles)!

Well, one owner but was also impounded by Baltimore police and later sold at auction. Heavy smoke smell. Dirty, some paint chips. Skid plates have some rust. But I've gotten rid of the smell and cleaned it up and it has always run perfect in the short time I've owned it.

It didn't have the best owner, other than keeping it serviced for most of it's life. It wasn't kept clean, he smoked in it (photos of him on facebook smoking big cigars in the truck - multiple pictures), and I found glass fragments in third row latch point recess - window got broken in. It cleaned up pretty nice and as long as it runs good I feel like I got a deal. You can pay a premium for a pristine example.

Jackson, I dont know how desperate you are to get a LC. but If you are willing to travel then there are lots of places open for you get some good deals on LC. Places that will have clean cars. Look for them in GA,FL, TX, and CA. good clean examples can be had for a decent price. The ticket to these places is not too expensive so go pick them up and drive them back. That is what I did for mine when I got it in FL and drove it back to GA.
