Congrats David! I saw this one and was tempted to scoop it up, but had to refrain. What's first on your to do list?

Glad you found one Dave, Needs a little love, put in a 'yota steering column and take out the Nissan!! Nothing a little plasma cutting and welding can't fix!!!LOL!! I'm sure a motor will become available soon.

SWEEEET!!! A guy in the DFW club has a 6.0 Vortec for sale with computer and harness for $800. Talk to Butch.

Nice score. Dave. I saw that one CL too. what is wrong with the engine? If you need a cherry picker, I've got one.

I was going to crank the engine yesterday, but I crawled underneath first and found a big hole in the oil pan. I guess it threw a rod.

I thought the seller told you about the thrown rod and oil pan hole before the purchase?

Just find where it threw it too and put it back in. Are you going to put a F/2F back in or are you going to put a v8 in it? Looks like you and I need to take a trip to the salvage yard.

Yes, he did, but I didn't see it until the other day.

Did you bolt on any chrome accessories yet? Mark may have something he could spare.

I took off the front lights. Two are chrome. Maybe Mark would take them.

I was thinking of going with gold to match the 100 series emblems. What do ya think?

David, did you locate a non-ghetto steering wheel? You should buy that 80 wheel back from Craig. He never used it.

Will you be driving the 40 home this afternoon? We'll expect action photos, whenever it happens.

TGIF

The truck is now at Edwin's awaiting a heart transplant. He took off the gigantic 37" tires and put on his 35's. The home made spacers were also removed, but Edwin found out that the front steering linkages now hit the rim. I now need some high steer arms.
