The truck is now at Edwin's awaiting a heart transplant. He took off the gigantic 37" tires and put on his 35's. The home made spacers were also removed, but Edwin found out that the front steering linkages now hit the rim. I now need some high steer arms.

How much clearance do you need? Couldn't you resolve it economically by using "real" bolt-on spacers. I had to use 1.5" spacers on my 62 in order to clear the 16" rims. Marlin Crawler sells them, or they're even cheaper on ebay.

Don't know. The spacers that came off the rig were closer to 5". :)

Yes, but that was with the bigass rims. I doubt you'd need that much of a spacer now. Don't you plan to use plain old 60 wheels?

5" spacers.....WTF yowza!! Are all of the bearings ok? I know sometimes spacers, especially that large can do funny things.

what dave forgot to mention was the 5" spacers were on the driveshaft :D

10-4, I'd take the hubs off and take a peek, you may have rollers falling out. Probably not, but it is worth a check!!!
