Yeah I have a Haynes manual on way. Should be here Tomorrow. I do want to learn and do all this myself and I will at any chance. I plan on doing everything myself to Cruiser. That's why I'm here I guess. We did a tune up last year when I got truck but I'm sure it's due for another. I was only going to go bling..lol...because I wasn't sure if cruiser needed anything. All fluid levels are great. Nothing seems to leak. All fluids have been changed on regular basis, from what friend said. He said Fluids were all clean. When I took it into shop although they don't work/see many cruiser's they said mine looked in great shape and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. That's why it took so long for them to find 1 broken wire. So I figured it was in good shape. I don't really have ANY problems with it. Sounds great except for alittle rattling when stopped at stoplight or something.
So I planned on doing something to looks of truck. But I agree with you guys that I should make sure truck is running up to par first. And that's what I plan to do. I've been geeking out waiting for my First Repair manual. So since I should do this stuff myself. Can any of you recommend a few tools I'll need or should get or anything. I don't have crap. Thanks Again

I asked the same question about tools, or vehicle specific tools about six months ago and got very good replies. A search (what tools) should turn up something for you.

It's a 91. Yeah I know it's no substitute for the FSM, but for what I know about Cars and Tools, It's a good Start. I think the FSM right now would just confuse me more, but don't get me wrong, I will be getting one. Probably in next couple of weeks. I'd prefer the online version, but I've read the FAQ and still don't really understand what to look for. But the Haynes manual will hopefully tell me enough and be easy enough for me to read to Start doing alot of the basics that might need to be done...like fluid changes and tunes ups, I hope. And yeah I'll do a search for tools right now. Thanks all, Been VERY helpful.
