If you are worried about the superior 100 series frame then i would not be. I have run it in the older days with 33, 2.5 inch OME and just a front ARB bumber with minor scuffing(80 series). If you are worried about the custom paint then leave the junk at home and bring the beater. Of course you will never live down the shame of leaving the 100 series at home with all the boasts you have made about the superior 100 series. later robbie

If I leave the 80 at home, I will know what sitting at home....and that's all that counts. :) ;p

are you really worried about scraping your bumper?

Scraping? Heck no. It needs touch ups now from recent trips.

isnt that why you have that bumper? 100 series guys........... ??????

Initially, to improve approach angles. Now with experience, yes for protection too. I figured I ask you all because I put a nice DENT in one side once and it was a pain to fix and don't think it could take another twisting like that? Sounds from you-all though that denting the thing is unlikely. Considering I mangled it once before I thought I'd ask.

Knowing how awesome our 80 is it'll be hard to leave that home too. Wish I could bring both (gar prices...no way. PLUS, if I left the 100 back at the motel somebody'd torch it.
:D )

See ya!

Overcoming denial is the first step towards recovery. If you want to know if that IFS boat fits the crack, try it and find out. If you are afraid, drive the 80. It looks pretty plain and simple to most of us.

Wake up Shark! :)

IFS has nothing to do with it. It's size, and mine's bigger than yours. :D

Riiight. I'll have to take your word on that one. Maybe you'd like to prove your point, but I'll be happy to know that you feel secure in your happiness. That's all that really matters. By the way, I can see from your avatar that IFS has nothing to do with articulation as compared to the 80. Good thing that "trac system" works, eh? :D I wouldn't know. I like to do the driving myself. :D

Hey John a couple of these and you wont get a scratch. :D

Those bridging ladders are great, but they are spendy! PSP works well too for light rigs, but an 80 would likely taco PSP without load spread underneath.

SLAM

:D

Now I know why some of you non-IFS non-100 guys make the dumb ( :) ) statements you make? YOU HAVE SHORT MEMORIES. :D

IFS Amando went through the crack without issue. It's been done and easily. So you're slammin' a technology for nothing. I on the otherhand have a much larger bumper.

I'd like to see you ARB bumper guys eat your words when my 80 with it's cut frames goes through places and up things without any trouble compared. I'm several inches shorter (almost a whole foot compared to ARB front and Slee rear 80's). It take a lot of extra lift to compensate for a foot reduction in size. That's the deal with Amando. He has that same advantage over my 100 with his bumpers.

As for the avatar? If you think any Cruiser could take that line and not lift a wheel then you're on drugs. :) Walt's 80 showed about an extra inch droop. The line didn't cause much up-travel.

You all suck. Friggin' CruiserHeads. Dang 4-wheelers. Err. Live axle lovers. 100 haters. Ooo, I can't stand it! :crybaby: :crybaby: :D

blah, blah, blah...
Amando this, Amando that...

Amando wheels his 100 in Moab.
Shotts talks about wheeling his 100 in Moab...there's a difference.

Amando would've wheeled his 100 with OEM bumpers at Moab.
Shotts worries about wheeling his 100 with an ARB bumper at Moab.

Sir, I know Amando. And let me tell you...you are no Amando.

:flipoff2:

Stop overanalyzing it. Bring the 100. Be done with it. Ya frickin' :crybaby:

:D

Easy for YOU to say! :flipoff2: :D

Amando has $30K (guessing) invested.

I have $75K invested (and a 80 Moab-mobile sitting in the driveway)

Only an idiot would bring the 100 over the 80. Though you all know me....I am an idiot and might be a big enough idiot to do it despite what all my close friends tell me (bring 80). If I'm smart I'll bring both!

80 = Spike
100 = Hell's and Fins

You sound like an eBay ad. It's not an investment. It's a sunk cost in a hobby. Now quit being such a :princess: and take the dang thing to Moab.

Fear of the unknown. I can imagine it now......I take the 80....then all the time I'm there I keep saying "SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT THE 100, IT CAN DO ALL THIS TOO". "WHAT WAS I THINKING?". :frown:

Shotts,

First, you need to change your avator to " :princess: ", immediately!

Secondly, if you don't take the 100, you will have to change your sig line to "I've wasted 75k on a slow & rough riding cruiser, Damn I'm such a princess"

And lastly, there is nothing in Moab that you would of signed up for that is going to cause any problems - pansy  :D

Now, go back to the 100 section!

:) ;) :bounce2: :D

Is your name Brutis? Hi, I'm Olive Oil. Popeye (the 100) ate his spinach so he's probably up to the task. :D

By the way......What part of Popeye doesn't rust?

I don't want to be a party pooper, but for all CM attendees, wait until you get your trail assignments before you make choices on vehicles and what ever to bring. I know there was 50 people that wanted to run GS on Thursday and only 25 is allowed.

The 100 will squeeze thru anything it needs to on the trail you listed, but wait do you have your trail assignments yet. The 100 series may be stuck to such trail a elephant hill or egads porcupine ridge jsut becasue it is a IFS handles the roads sooooo much better. O yea You have to pass tech inspection, will it have any leaks? I know who leads the tech inspection, do you want me to put in a good word for you John? later robbie
