Golden Crack vs ARB front bumper?

Yea that is the one. Beer works as a good bribe. But do not let any one know.

Shotts, you do know that you're allowed to go to Moab more than once in your life, right? Stop making such a big deal out of it. If you take the 100, and you wish you had the 80, go back next year with the 80  :D

I want my cake and then eat it too. What I want is another 100 then down-size it like I did my 80. Ya baby.

Any how, WHEN do we in fact get our assignments?

You get to go to Moab, that's cake enough, so shut up and enjoy it :D

Yes sir. Hey, I haven't tortured anyone on this site with 100-stuff for a while. Leave me alone! :D

SO, ANYBODY KNOW WHAT PART OF POPEYE DOESN'T RUST?

The part he sticks in Olive Oyl?

Investment shimvestment...

If you're too much of a :princess: to wheel your 100, just admit it...and bring the 80. Don't pull the "oh, but I have $90,000 invested :crybaby:" crap.

Damn Shotts, now I'm embarrassed FOR you. You have two built up LC's and act like a pre-pube girl on her first date. It's like you own Rovers or something.
At least Big Moose wheels his rigs like a man and isn't crying for months about if an obstacle is going to scratch his bumper.

You have two amazing rigs. Pick one, wheel it at Moab, take alot of pics for everyone to enjoy and then you will have a whole 'nother year's worth of bragging you can do.

Yer exactly right. When it comes to the 100 I am a puss. I'm completely relaxed in the 80 cuz I don't care. That's my struggle:

100 = More challenge = fun factor
80 = No worries = fun factor

Which will win?

RIGHT ON NORCALDOUG! "The part he dips in Oive Oil"

Shotts, stop wining, go to Chevy, buy a Duramax, then buy one of these and trailer both out. Talk about a decent investment.

(Hey, how do I reference a previous attachment so that it shows up as picture and not a link?

I won't whine when I get there. Right now it's the fear of the unknown. :frown:

If I don't post to this thread, I'm gonna feel left out.

Ok, I'm too much of a :princess: to take my 80 on the Rubicon. See that wasn't so hard. Wait this is about Moab? Oh yeah I'm going next year (maybe).

So um how much damage will my tail pipe get on the Golden Crack?

Shees. Stop the insanity awhile. It is a well known fact that shotts does not comprehend the superiority of the 80 over the 100 and will only truly be happy when he buys (or finds one dead alongside the road) a frickin heep.

If these trucks get built up then they are treated to the opportunity to wheel them then they are simply poser trucks. I am embarrassed for folks that do this. Oh well, I guess the world needs all kinds.

Yes. Poser trucks like in the pics.

Junk: Your reverse psycology won't work on me. I know the difference in the 2 rigs. It's size buddy. Front axle diff's have VERY little to do with it. Nice try though. :)

Started that way though since these dudes know me it got turned around in my face. Who cares though really? The 100's a Cruiser isn't it? (OK Junk, yer turn. I'm wide open now. :D )

So, let me make sure I have it right...you'll wheel the 100 as long as you know you won't scrape the bumpers?

That's what this all seems to boil down to, doesn't it?

Nope. Wrong. I need touch-ups on both bumpers right now.

My concern with the crack was front bumper denting. Since all that weight rests on the front corner and the fact the front bumper sticks out much farther on a 100 I thought the Crack might be a bumper eater. Paint scrapes, who cares. It sounds like most say that denting/bending is unlikely, though again my front bumper stick out much farther.
What I'd like is a 100 downsized 10% to the 80's size. PERFECT!

Here's the concern:

Pic 1: My 80 with cut frame and custom bumper (hadn;t done the rear here yet)
Pic 2: A typical 80 with same lift and with ARB bumper
Pic 3: My 100 with an ARB bumper

Notice how much longer the 100 is from the front wheels compared to the 80? Ya think that';; twist the sucker on the Crack?

Yeah, poser truck. I don't see anything particularly difficult in those pics, beyond what you might encounter at the average home construction site around here.

Bring it to 80Con this year (yes, I think we can even let a 100 join us, heck, Amando does) and get some respect from us 80 owners.

Thanks, but I have plenty already from my AZ 80 buddies. :) They changed their tune as soon as the 100 got built and was wheeled. Great guys and they're now converted. One dude with his 60 wants a 100 so he's saving.
