Hello,
I'm interesed for a Godwinch for my Toyota 70.Has anybody some pictures with the godwinch how it's made and stuff like that ?

Their is only one person on the forum running a god winch on a 70 series that I am aware of:

Basically uses the PTO to run a differential (out of a 3rd member type axle), mounted with custom built drum.
and wow are they fast!!

Thanks for reply.I saw that thread , but i'm interesed, how is the brake at the God Winch working and if the PTO from Toyota 70 it's pretty ok ? I think that the winch should have an brake to stop the cable. I'm from Romania , and the Offroad Trophy's from here are pretty hard at the Extreme Class , and the electric winch isn't good for what i need.

I'd be worried about blowing the PTO box off the side of the transfer case trying to force that much torque through it. Going from the standard Toyota PTO winch ratio at 20 something to 1, to a diff at about 5:1 means a 400% increase in load on the PTO box for a given line pull.

A mate of mine played around with making a custom heavy duty PTO drive off the back of the transfercase input shaft which looked like a good idea, might be 10 years before it gets finished though...
