Gobi Rack for the LC200 (2 Viewers)

Does anyone know how much higher this sticks up vs. the factory roof rack? I only have about 5" to spare to enter my garage and I'm getting my lift soon...

Called Gobi and they tell me it's about 3" higher than the stock rack, or 6" total height from the roof of the LC.

Unfortunately, While I really like the design of this rack, I need to go with something lower profile. Need to be able to park it in underground parking lots at times. With the lift it will just be too high for my needs. My Baja Racks Utility rack is on the way. They have apparently redesigned the feet and tweaked the design to fix some of the issues of the earlier release.

Can you post the height when you get it installed? I too am looking for the lowest profile rack options so I can still make it in my garage with 33's and a 2" lift.

I had John @ BajaRack fabricate special small legs so the total height is 6 ¾”. Plus they did a fabulous job on putting in extra plates,points for my LEDs around the rack. few pictures below when me and my pal got it 2yrs ago. Its been holding quite good and With NO RUSTING ! and i live right on the beach ! more pics are at my thread...

After all that I decided to go with the BajaRacks Utility Rack. For the low profile mostly. I'm very happy with the results.

Is your rack specifically designed for the 200, or was it a custom rack? I was just on their website, and I do not see that rack, or any rack for the 200 listed.

It is a rack they offer but they don't show it on the site. Just shoot them an email. They just redesigned the rack. And added the removable sunroof panel for me. So far I'm really happy with it.

Looks good and liking the low profile. Could you mount a RTT to it?

Yep it's good with a RTT. They also sell mounts for an awning if you want.
