not sure where this should be but oh well.
ok as some of you know i have been planing on this Gm tilt steering coulmn idea which i really want since it will help my wiring alot. so i did that but relized i was going to have problems with my stock 1971 box since the coulmn doesnt un bolt from that year box. so i decided to go the toyota mini power steering box way. i already had the bracket so i got the box and such but now i cant mount the GM coulmn to the PS box. no one in my town sells rag joints. they all sell the little ruber bushing that goes inbeteen but not the metal parts that bolt to the coulmn and box. the Gm coulmn is about an inch in diameter and the toyota one is much smaller. i hit the junk yards this morning but they dont have anything that will work.
Any one have any ideas as what to do? i want to go strait from the box to the coulmn with no u-joint just strait bolt up.
