GM steering box and tilt column with Pig wheel?

Since I am using my crappy K20 to get my Pig driving, I want to use as much stuff from the K20 as possible.

It has Power steering, so is there enough room to use the K20 box with the 350? I have mad fabrication skills, but has anyone else done it?

Also, has anyone used a GM tilt column in a Pig? I'd like to use it, but somehow I'd keep the Pig wheel.

Thoughts and tips?

Go here and read up on Texican's write up on GM columns in cruisers. Yes, it will work on 55s.

K20 is that a chevy truck? The chevy truck saginaws usually don't work very well in cruisers because the bolt holes are on the wrong side of the gear box IIRC

Don't know about using the pig steering wheel on the gm column.

Thanks for the link. Before I do the swap, I'll figure out a way to use the Pig wheel and post back how I did it.
